Sevilla - Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural CLIC
LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN SEVILLE
The Centro de Lenguas e Intercambrio Cultural (CLIC) is a medium sized school founded in 1983. The school has between 70 and 110 students, depending on the season. Participants come from all over the world, with German speakers the most numerous. Two centrally located, typically Sevillian aristocratic houses, recently renovated, also belong the school. CLIC consists of 17 purpose-equipped classrooms, 2 video rooms and lounges, a small library and a good-sized cafeteria. The atmosphere in the school is hospitable, friendly and natural. A variety of foreign language courses for Spaniards is also given.
ACCOMMODATION
CLIC offers the following types of accommodation. In a single room with half board (breakfast and lunch) in the home of a Spanish host family or for students who prefer to be somewhat more independent, single or double rooms without meals are available in the school’s own residences. The school residences are all in the city centre. Each residence houses between 6 and 15 students, who share a living room and kitchen along with a bath/WC. A Superior room with its own bath/WC can also be booked for an additional charge. Cleaning is included in the price.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school offers a varied range of activities on 3 afternoons a week, e.g., discussions with guest speakers, films and excursions in Seville and the surrounding area. Every second Saturday, a full days excursion is organized: depending on the season, this can be to the beach, the mountains, Cordoba, Cadiz or Granada. On request, the school will also arrange for course participants to meet with local people. These “Intercambios” can be mutually helpful in learning a foreign language, as well as providing interesting contacts.
