Salamanca - Estudio Sampere
LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN SALAMANCA
The Estudio Sampere was opened in Salamanca in 1992. The Sampere group owns schools in Spain, Cuba and Ecuador. The first Sampere school was founded in 1956 by the Samperes, as a pioneering venture in teaching Spanish in Madrid. The Sampere schools are today run as a family business with a unified pedagogic principle. As a result, one option is to begin a longer language learning stay in Salamanca and to end it in Alicante or Madrid: this way, students can get to know Spain’s linguistic and cultural diversity. The school is Salamanca is centrally located, less than 2 minutes from the Plaza Mayor. It has more than 12 air-conditioned classrooms for teaching in small groups, a small library, lounge and a TV room.

The school offers accommodation with selected host families in single rooms with half board during the week and full board on weekends. Most families live within easy walking distance of the school. If desired, EIS can also arrange accommodation in apartments, studios or hotel rooms.

Every Wednesday, sightseeing tours, guided by members of the teaching staff, visit such sights as the art deco museum or the famous Salamanca University. Depending on the weather, full day excursions are organized twice a month to interesting towns and areas around Salamanca.
