LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN PALMA DE MALLORCA
The International House in Palma de Mallorca is located in the centre of the old town in a large elegant building on Plaza de Cort- directly opposite the city hall. The school occupies all 4 floors of the building, which houses a total of 20 air-conditioned classrooms. Beyond that, offices and lounges are available with computers, which course participants can use free of charge before and after class. All teachers are qualified, experienced native speakers and have completed the schools own training program. They use a variety of teaching methods so that the students progress rapidly in a communicative environment.
ACCOMMODATION
The school offers two types of accommodation: in host families with half board or breakfast only and student apartments. The host families are all carefully selected and live close to the school. The school also offers a variety of student apartments in Palma, with accommodation in single rooms. The living room, kitchen and bath are joint occupancy. Meals are not included, but the price does include weekly cleaning, clean bedding and towels. Other types of accommodation are available upon request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Included in the course is a programme of activities, which occur either in the afternoon or evening. It also includes a welcome cocktail, sightseeing in Palma de Mallorca and excursions on the island, as well as film evenings in Spanish with exchange events with local people who are learning English or German. Many students also use the wide range of possibilities in Palma de Mallorca to explore alone or in groups.
