LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN MALAGA
The Malaca Instituto was founded in 1970 and is today one of Spain’s best known and best language schools. The school is located in Cerrado de Calderon, a leafy suburb in the east of the city, on the hillside with a direct view over the sea. The school also has its own residential block, the “Club Hispanico”. Course participants have access to an extensive infrastructure for school and recreation: 20 welcoming air-conditioned classrooms, a language laboratory, a multimedia centre, a 30-seat cinema, a terrace with a swimming pool, cafeteria and of course the school’s meeting place: the bar. The well-trained teaching staff use textbooks developed in the school on the basis of years of experience teaching.
ACCOMMODATION
The school has accommodation for over 100 participants by in the “Club Hispanico”, the school residence. Students have a choice between standard single rooms, double rooms (which can also be used for one person) and executive single rooms). The “Club Hispanico” offers, in addition to hotel standard comfort, a unique combination of teaching, accommodation and entertainment. The school also offers accommodation in host families or can arrange apartments, which can be shared with other tenants.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Malaga has a large sport harbour. There are also numerous beaches in the surrounding area. Golf, tennis, riding and swimming are readily available. The school has a recreation officer who organizes numerous excursions and trips every week and assists students in organizing their own. Weekend excursions are a regular feature, e.g., to Morocco. Free flamenco and Sevilliana courses are given in the “Club Hispanico”, which also has its own swimming pool, table tennis and billiard facilities.
