LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN GRANADA
Castila is housed in a building typical in style of the region, right in the centre of the Albaicin quarter of the city, surrounded by a beautiful garden. There are seven classrooms fully-equipped with DVD and audio-visual technology. As well, the school has a student lounge with TVs and DVD players, computers and free WiFi internet throughout the school. There is a small cafeteria, as well as a library that offers a large selection of books, movies, and Spanish music for students to use at their leisure. And the view from the second storey, overlooking the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada, is certainly a highlight.
ACCOMMODATION
The school arranges single rooms at carefully-selected host families, recommending full board. There are many host families within a 20-minute radius of the school. As an alternative, the school can also arrange for apartments, which can either be shared with other students or Spanish locals, or can be rented solo for independent living. RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Castila offers a large selection of activities for its students. These range from movie nights, going to musicals, and dining on paella or tapas, to going skiing in the Sierra Nevada. The school offers over 50 different activities, which change daily. Students particularly enjoy tours to the Alhambra or excursions to the nearby sea. Some excursions are included in the course price, while others are user-pay; the school is well-connected with local operators and is able to get preferred pricing in many cases.
