LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN CÁDIZ
Following many successful years in Seville, there is now also a Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural (CLIC) in Cadiz. The language school’s 300 m² sized building is situated only a few metres from the beach and shopping district of «Bahia Blanca», one of Cadiz’ best areas. The 8 classrooms are flooded by daylight and equipped with the most modern technology. In addition to the classrooms, the school has a conference room, a video library and a multimedia room. The building is wheel chair accessible and completely air conditioned. The students can write e-mails or surf free of charge using the wireless Internet or the stationary desktop computers installed for this purpose. CLIC is proud of its qualified and motivated teaching staff and regularly invests in their training as well as in new technology.
ACCOMMODATION
The host families are all located in the direct vicinity of the school and can be reached on foot. Students can choose between single or double rooms as well as half or full bard. All of the families are visited at regular intervals to check their suitability. Alternatively, the school also offers rooms in flat shares. In addition to their single or double rooms, students there also have use of a kitchen, bathroom and living room. Food must be provided by the students themselves. All of the flats are within walking distance of the school. The school can also organise hotel accommodation, student houses or private apartments on request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Almost everyday, CLIC Cadiz organises activities that acquaint the students with the Spanish language and culture. The program is wide ranging and includes; accompanied excursions into Cadiz’ old town, round table discussions about Spanish cinema or famous people, Flamenco shows and student/teacher basketball games. Also on offer are guided trips to Morocco at the weekends. In addition, all students receive a complimentary orientation tour with welcome drink.
