LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN BARCELONA
Babylon Idiomas is located right in the middle of Barcelona on a quiet side street. The language school is housed in a building from the 19th century within the famous district of «Example». High ceilings and mosaic floors are part of the school’s special charm. Air-conditioned classrooms, a spacious common room as well as a wonderful big terrace create an ideal learning environment. Furthermore, the students are welcome to use several computers with internet access as well as a coffee machine. The teachers are carefully selected and very eager to organize the lessons to be as varied and personal as possible.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The careful selection of host families is of particular importance to the school. On offer are stays with host families in single rooms including breakfast or half-board. The families are on an average no further away from the school than a 30 minutes ride by public transport. Further accommodation, for example in an apartment or shared flat can be arranged.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Babylon does its best to offer a wide range of recreational activities. Apart from daily cultural lessons (architecture, movies, literature etc.) that are open to all students (except for participants enrolled in the standard course), the language school also organizes beach parties, salsa lessons, wine tastings and joint dinners. On the weekends additional trips to the Dali Museum, to Monserrate or sailing trips are organized (not included in the class fee).
