LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN ALICANTE
The Estudio Sampere in Alicante belongs to the Sampere group. Estudio Sampere runs additional schools in Spain, Cuba and Ecuador. The first Estudio Sampere school was founded in Madrid as long ago as 1956 by the Samperes, as a pioneering venture in Spanish language teaching. The Estudio Sampere schools are today run as a family business in accordance with a consistent pedagogical principle. It is also possible to combine a longer stay with study in other Sampere schools, to become more familiar with the linguistic and cultural variety. The school in Alicante is centrally located directly opposite the Teatro Principal. The well-known Postiguet Beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Most student accommodation is nearby, so that they school is within easy walking distance. The school itself is housed in a 3-story building with 7 bright, air-conditioned classrooms, a library, video room and lounge.
ACCOMMODATION
The language school offers accommodation with selected host families, in single rooms with half board during the week and full board on weekends. Families are within easy reach of the school. On request, accommodation can also be arranged in apartments of hotels.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Twice a month, full day excursions are organized to Altea, the Tabarca Islands or to Ibiza. Students often arrange their own expeditions on weekends: Madrid and Barcelona are approximately 4 hours away. A wide range of sports, especially water sports, are available in Alicante and the school management is happy to provide information. As in any major Spanish city, the nightlife fulfills all expectations.
