LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN PUERTO VALLARTA
SSolexico in Puerto Vallarta is located in the heart of the city, only one block from the Pacific Ocean. The language centre, surrounded by Puerto Vallarta’s splendid colonial buildings and enchanting streets, is close to restaurants, cafés, shops as well as bars and clubs. The school building is in typical Puerto Vallarta style and includes a large café directly beside the main entrance, which serves as a meeting place for students during the breaks. Solexico’s offices and classrooms are on the 2nd floor and are in the same style as the outer façade of the building. The top floor is air-conditioned and is used for regular salsa classes and monthly parties. There is also a lecture room, in which Spanish language films are shown and cultural lectures given. Qualified language teachers, small classes and a pleasant, friendly learning atmosphere are also indications of the quality of our partner school.
ACCOMMODATION
As part of its Homestay programme, Solexico offers single rooms with half or full board in carefully selected host families. This provides students with an optimal opportunity to experience Mexican lifestyle and culture close up. Individual accommodation, including apartments, living quarters, houses or hotel rooms are also available. Prices for these options vary and do not include meals. The school is happy to assist in looking for appropriate options.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Solexico offers, for example, a 2-day excursion to the city of Guadalajara, with its rich traditions, with a stopover in Tequila, the little town where Mexico’s most famous drink is produced. Puerto Vallarta offers countless recreational activities, including hiking, diving, snorkelling, paragliding, motorcycling, windsurfing, kite surfing and riding. Puerto Vallarta lies on Mexico’s largest bay and attracts fishermen from all parts of the world. In winter, whales and dolphins can be observed in their natural habitat.
