LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN QUITO
The Instituto Superior de Español has been offering Spanish courses in Ecuador since 1988. Throughout the years, the school has built an excellent reputation and is known for its first class, qualified teaching. The Instituto Superior de Español is located in a colonial-style house that has been renovated. The school is close to a vibrant food and craft market, as well as numerous restaurants and shopping. It is also close to public transportation (the stop is just one minute on foot). The famous tourist area, ‘Mariscal,’ is also just 10 minutes away. The Instituto provides free internet to students, a library, and several areas throughout the school where students can go to relax between and after classes. The experienced and qualified teaching staff are always well prepared and provide intensive support, to ensure fast progress for the learners.
ACCOMMODATIONS
A good way to learn about the South American mentality is to stay with a host family. Many of the carefully-selected host families live in the surrounding area, with most being within 15 minutes of the school. Regular homestay is in a single room with full board. Other accommodation options can be arranged upon request.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school organizes city tours for the students as well as regular excursions to the Middle of the World (‘Midad del Mundo’), to the Cotopaxi National Park/Volcano, or to the natural hot springs in Papallacta.
