LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN TOKIO
The KAI Japanese Language School is located in Shin-Okubo, not far from the famous Shinjuku section, with its skyscrapers, office buildings, cinemas, shopping and innumerable restaurants. The language school is only 1 stop by train (Yamanote Line) from Shinjuku station and is thus easy to reach. Very close to KAI are the Shinjuki Sports Centre, a swimming pool and a library. Waseda University is also only 10 minutes away. The orientation of KAI is highly international and the school welcomes students from more than 50 different countries. The school has ultra modern facilities, offering beginners and advanced courses, business Japanese and individual tuition. The school is small by Japanese standards with slightly more than 30 teachers, which allows for individual, personal contact with students. The language school also excels with its modern infrastructure and well-organized curriculum.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school offers a multifaceted programme of recreational activities (1-2 times per week). These included “origami” (folding paper), “saddoo” (Japanese tea ceremony), “shodoo” (calligraphy), visits to sumo wrestling matches, BBQs, parties, Izakaya Nights, day excursions etc. alongside the organized school activities, Tokyo itself offers a wide scope of recreation. Shibuya is probably the most exciting section of the city, with its shopping and amusement area of the same name, Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park, the Ebisu entertainment quarter and the Daikanyama fashion centre. Roppongi, which features numerous clubs and bars, is another entertainment district.
