LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN KANAZAWA
The Eurocentres in Kanazawa is located close to the city centre in the modern “International Exchange Centre”; just 3 minutes walk from the railway station. The school has a total of 5 classrooms, a lecture hall and a café-lounge with satellite TV in this architecturally attractive building, which also houses the Kanazawa public library, where students have free Internet access. Nearby there is a large selection of stores post offices, banks as well as many different restaurants.
ACCOMMODATION
The school arranges private accommodation in host families with single rooms with half board (full board on weekends), located between 15 and 50 minutes away, within easy reach by walking, cycling or by bus. Course participants who prefer a student atmosphere can also be housed in student residences. Details are available upon request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school provides information about cultural activities and organizes to Kanazawa Castle, the Noto Peninsula or to Hakusan Mountain. Students can also visit the Geisha or Samurai quarters of the city. From Kanazawa, the mountains and the sea are only a half hours ride away by bicycle. Fitness enthusiasts use the long stretches of beach for extensive walks or jogging. As an interesting complement to language training, Eurocentres also offers courses in cooking, marshal arts, calligraphy, brush writing, flower arranging or Zen. For excursions, Osaka is around 3 hours away from Kanazawa by train, while Tokyo can be reached in around 4 hours.
