The Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Milan is the newest school in the well-known group. It opened in 2005 and is housed on the campus of a private, state registered art college, in NABA (Nuova Accademia di belle Arti Milano). The campus consists of several houses with protected status, most of them dating to the early 19th century, which have been renovated. Students at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci have access to the entire school infrastructure. The school is located to the south of the city centre in a quiet residential district, easily reachable by public transport and only a few minutes by subway from the old city. The large, bright classrooms are distributed in several buildings and are noted for their modern equipment. All rooms are air-conditioned, providing pleasant temperatures year round. A well-equipped library, two computer rooms with a total of 40 computers and free Internet access, as well as several soft drink and coffee machines are for student use. The campus has had its own restaurant since October 2005. All teaching staff are university graduates and have taken additional courses in teaching Italian as a foreign language.
