Frankfurt - DID Deutsch-Institut
LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN FRANKFURT
DID Deutsch-Institut is located in Sachsenhausen, one of the loveliest districts in Frankfurt, and only 10 minutes away from the ’Museumsufer’. The school has seven large and modernly-appointed classrooms, a cafeteria with internet café and vending machines for beverages. There is also a self-study centre with modern study materials and a multimedia room with computers. There is free W-LAN and cable internet connections for students with laptops. Most of the teaching staff are native German speakers with a high level of education. They place great value on making learning friendly and interesting, so lively and natural communication is encouraged.
GFDS DIPLOMA TEST (from Level B1)
As an important quality distinction of your German language studies, DID Deutsch-Institut offers you the chance to take the test for the GfdS Diploma (Association of the German Language), at the end of every course level starting at Level B1. This nationally and internationally accepted diploma is a verification of your achievements and in Germany, it is offered exclusively through DID Deutsch-Institut in regular eight-week intervals both in Frankfurt and Hamburg. This allows you to regularly evaluate your progress – and as long as you are enrolled with us for eight weeks or longer, this is included in your course fees. If you are enrolled for fewer than eight weeks and a test seating is available, you may take part for a fee.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The carefully-selected host families offer single rooms with breakfast only or with half board (breakfast and dinner). You have also the possibility to opt for a private room in a family home, but you will have to take care of all of your meals and live independently. Further accommodation options available upon request.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school organizes different activities and weekend excursions. The program includes city sightseeing and museum visits as well as visits to the exotic Palmengarten (tropical gardens), the Opel factory, Commerzbank tower, and other sites. Weekend excursions include trips to Wuerzburg, the Rheintal or to Heidelberg.
