LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN VIENNA
The ActiLingua Academy is situated in the consular district, directly across from the Belvedere Castle. The city centre can be reached by public transporation within 15 minutes from the school. The language school is in a quaint, renovated, art nouveau building. It has over six bright and modernly-equipped classrooms, a media room with computers and free internet, and a student lounge, where students can drink coffee or get a snack. Students can choose from a wide selection of study materials to borrow, such as newspapers, magazines, DVDs and CDs. Wireless internet is available, so it is easy to surf the net in comfort from anywhere throughout the school. An attractive feature of the school is also its great nationality mix, with students from 40 different countries.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The carefully-selected host families offer single rooms with half board (breakfast and dinner). There is also the possibility to choose a self-catering option, which is a single room in a host family house or shared house, where each student prepares their own meals and lives independently. Further options such as student residences or hotels available upon request.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school organizes a variety of activities and weekend excursions. Sightseeing tours and museum visits are on offer, as are Viennese waltz lessons or sports activities. Weekend excursions (not included in course price) include trips to Salzburg, Donautal Wachau or to the Neusiedler lake.
