Sainte-Anne - SARL Inter Media Langues Caraibes
LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN GUADELOUPE
Media Langues Caraïbes (MLC), founded in 1994, is located in Sainte-Anne, a small fishing village on the south coast of Grande-Terre, one of the two main islands of Guadeloupe. The school is in a renovated two-storey building in one of Sainte-Anne’s sidestreets, close to shops, restaurants, bars and two white-sand beaches. MLC is a small language school that aims to teach not only French as a foreign language, but also Creole culture, history and literature. It places great value on a communicative instruction style in small groups, so that students can get used to using French in everyday situations quickly. All this in a relaxed, flexible, and friendly Caribbean atmosphere. MLC is a popular school especially amongst German speakers.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The school can arrange accommodations in single rooms with half board, or apartments and studios with private bathroom as well as separate entrance, with host families. All host families are carefully selected by the school. Other accommodation options are also available. By request, accommodations in an apartment, studio or hotel can be arranged as well.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The two main attractions in Guadeloupe are the rain forest and the beautiful beaches. The school organizes excursions such as full or half day tours to the tropical forests to enjoy the many rivers and waterfalls, or inland to see the volcanoes. The excursions take place every two weeks. Closer to the school are two white-sand beaches offering snorkelling, windsurfing or waterskiing, or, diving at Basse-Terre. The school also give tips on a broad selection of other activities on Guadeloupe.
