LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN NICE
Azurlingua is located in a quiet residential district a few minutes from Avenue Jean Médecin, and around 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. There are several bus stations near the school. The campus consists of a main building, which houses all the classrooms and the school residence, a side building and a large sunny garden with palms and orange trees. The entire complex was extensively renovated in 2003. A lounge with chairs and sofas, TV and vending machines for snacks, drinks and coffee are available to students. The computer room houses 12 PCs with free Internet access and WiFi. The school is international in its orientation and excels with its superbly trained and specialized staff, who are attentive to the student’s needs. Classes are held in 10 bright, welcoming classrooms, all of which are air-conditioned. The experienced teachers are all university graduates who have completed specific training programs for teaching French as a foreign language.
ACCOMMODATION
Most families are located less than 20 minutes on foot or by bus from the school. Accommodation is in single rooms with a choice of breakfast or half board. The school’s residence has 12 double and nine single rooms, occupying the top three floors of the school building. The bright, air-conditioned rooms are modern and purpose designed, each with its own bathroom. A communal kitchen with a dining table, TV and telephone are available on each floor. Cleaning is included once a week. Apartments and hotels can be organized on request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school aranges an attractive weekly program. It includes half or full day excursions to Cannes, Grasse, Antibes, Monaco and other towns along the coast and inland. Communal dinners, visits to cinemas and discos are also on the program. Nice offers a wide range of skills and the school is happy to help with the organizational aspects. Diving, windsurfing, beach volleyball, football or basketball, tennis or riding: all these and more are possible in and around Nice.
