Escapade Biarritz belongs to the Escapade Group which operates language schools throughout France. The school is located in the lively centre of Biarritz just a few meters from the beach, the Les Halles market and the casino. Thanks to the bus stop just in front of the school building, you are perfectly linked to the public transportation network and the entire region. The well-trained staff teach in 9 light-flooded and state-of-the-art furnished classrooms. Learners also have a roomy lounge with an embedded Internet café (Wireless Internet is free of charge), a nice terrace and a washroom at their disposal.
ACCOMMODATION
Host families are carefully chosen by a coordinator. It takes 5 to maximum 30 minutes by bus to get from the school to your hosts. They offer single or double rooms with half board during the week and full board at weekends, according to your wishes. Upon request, alternative accommodation in residencies and apartments can be organized.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The beaches of Biarritz and its surroundings are considered a surfer’s paradise. Other sports, such as golf, horse riding, tennis, rafting, hiking etc. can be done there, too. The school’s program of activities comprises half-day and day excursions (to Bordeaux, Pau, Bilbao, San Sebastian etc.) as well as cooking lessons, wine tastings and shopping tours. All learners are given one half-day trip and an evening activity.
