LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN QUEBEC CITY
Bouchereau Lingua International (BLI), a language and translation institute known from coast to coast, is just a few steps from the Chateau Frontenac, in the centre of the city’s old town. The school is housed on the 4th floor of a newly renovated shopping complex with exclusive boutiques, galleries and restaurants. The national and international bus station, the ferry docks and Laval University are close by. BLI has 7 classrooms, a lounge and a small kitchen. The school offers standard and intensive courses as well as preparatory courses for the DELF in small classes. All teachers have years of experience and the qualifications required for professional teaching.
ACCOMMODATION
The school carefully selects all host families. They offer single rooms with half board. The school also has accommodation in a student residence. Other types of accommodation can be arranged on request: hotels, 1-room apartments and Bed & Breakfasts.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Once a week, the language school organizes an informal get together in a bar or restaurant, where students can put their newly acquired knowledge of French to practical use. Many students explore Quebec City and vicinity independently. The Rue de Tresor with its bistros, restaurants and artists demonstrating their painting skills on the asphalt or performing, are particularly popular. There is also plenty for sports enthusiasts: ranging from water sports on the Jacques-Cartier River or mountain biking and skiing in the nearby mountains. Trips to Montreal or Toronto are worthwhile weekend projects.
