Kaplan International Colleges is sited on the campus of Santa Barbara City College. Thanks to its location directly on the Pacific Oceanside, the students find the ideal learning environment. Kaplan International Colleges is a part of "The Mesa", a quiet residential area in Santa Barbara and is housed in a modern building on the City College campus only 5 minutes away from city centre. Restaurants and shopping facilities are in the close vicinity of the school, which has 8 light class rooms and a multimedia centre. On the campus, students also find an extensive library as well as sports and fitness facilities (access to the fitness facilities with the Life Fitness Membership Card).
ACCOMMODATION
All host families are hand-picked and can be reached by public transport within 5 to 60 minutes. Students can book single rooms including half-board (breakfast and dinner). Alternative accommodation such as apartments can be arranged on request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Santa Barbara offers a broad variety of spare time activities. Staff members are happy to arrange individual excursions. Kaplan International Colleges organises BBQ evenings, boat parties, sports activities, visits to baseball and basketball matches and city tours. Excursions to Disney Land, the Universal Studios, Los Angeles, Las Vegas or San Francisco are also part of the leisure program.
