The EC San Francisco lies in the heart of the former gold rush town. The modern, well equipped rooms take up the whole of the 18th story of 100 Montgomery Street. Due to the central position only a few metres away from Market Street, Union Square can be reached on foot within a few minutes as can the Waterfront with its Ferry Plaza. In addition to the 16 light and generously sized classrooms, there is also a room for studying, a TV and complimentary Internet stations. Laptop owners can surf the Internet using the wireless connection. Students can find refreshments in the basement café. EC places a great deal of value on being able to offer a conducive and relaxed learning atmosphere with motivated teachers.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The carefully selected host families can be reached by public transport in a maximum of 50 minutes. The families offer either single or double rooms with half board. Student halls can also be booked as an alternative to host families. The halls are particularly popular with students who would like a little bit more freedom. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The language school offers a varied program of free time activities in San Francisco and the surrounding area. In addition to fun and entertainment, students can meet like-minded people from different countries and improve their English. Among the excursions the school offers are; visits to Alcatraz, Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles, tours of the nicest residential areas in San Francisco and kayaking with views of the city. In addition to the organised activities, the city offers many free time activities that can be discovered by students on their own initiative.
