LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN NEW YORK
Embassy CES maintains a language school on 7th Avenue in downtown Manhattan, close to the Empire State Building. Since it was founded in 1989, the school has acquired an excellent reputation. With modern classrooms, a central location and well-trained teaching staff, the New York language school is exceptionally professional. ACCOMMODATION
Alongside a good selection of host families, who offer single rooms with half board, but who generally live outside Manhattan, which means as much as a 60-minute commute on public transport. The school also offers single and double rooms in the residence of the Manhattan School of Music. The residence is located in Morningside Heights, some 20 minutes by subway from the city centre and offers a dining room, computer room and fitness centre.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The recreational program offered by the school ranges from visits to museums and musicals to sports and communal dinners. A range of weekend excursions, to destinations such as Washington, are also organized. The cultural, sports and gastronomic opportunities in New York are overwhelming.
