The ABC College of English is centrally located and offers English instruction in small classes with an average of 6 students.,There is an unobstructed view from the classrooms of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. The school is small (with 30 to 50 students) and intimate, allowing students from all over the world get to know each other quickly. The teaching staff are well-trained, friendly and dedicated. Due to the small classes, students are able to make fast progress, especially orally.
ACCOMMODATION
The host families are selected with great care by the school. Many of them are within walking distance, or a short bus ride. The families offer single rooms with half board (full board on weekends). If desired, the school can also arrange accommodation in a youth hostel. Early booking is recommended, especiallAlong with a program of activities and recreation, the school offers combination courses in English and snowboarding or English and skiing. Queenstown has a lot to offer as New Zealand’s absolute outdoor Mecca: mountain biking, bungee jumping, parachute jumping, climbing and trekking are all possible. Snowboarding and skiing are also very popular. Weekend excursions to Milford Sounds and Christchurch, kayak trips or excursions to the countryside- there are ample opportunities for recreation. Many students also go on excursions independently.
