LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN NELSON
The Nelson English Centre is located in the centre of Nelson and offers professional English courses. Nelson itself is a pleasant, sunny vacation spot surrounded by great scenic beauty. The language school is located in an art deco office building, with shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, galleries and city library in the immediate vicinity. The dedicated teaching staff ensure that the program is varied and practically oriented. All staff have excellent qualifications, combined with long experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
ACCOMMODATION
The host families are carefully selected and within easy reach. Students are housed in single rooms with half board (full board on weekends). Most families are located close to the school, within easy reach in 20 to 30 minutes, walking or by bus.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school is happy to provide advice on activities and excursions in Nelson and offers its own varied recreational program. This includes riding, beach volleyball, BBQ and pub evenings, as well as farm visits. Excursions to nearby Abel Tasman National Park, Kaikoura, Wellington, Christchurch or Queenstown are also popular.
