LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN CHRISTCHURCH
The Aspiring Language Institute in Christchurch was founded in 1989. The small, very popular and conscientiously run language school is staffed by experienced, professional teachers. The small class size, averaging 8 students, allows for optimal learning conditions and teaching can be arranged on an even more individual basis. This also promotes contact between students. The school is located in Merivale, a quiet, attractive residential neighbourhood in Christchurch, just a few minutes from the centre. Shops, banks, the post office and restaurants are also nearby, within easy walking distance. The attractive gardens surrounding the school are very popular during breaks, while the bright, friendly classrooms and lounges promote a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere for learning English.
ACCOMMODATION
The Aspiring Language Institute offers single rooms in host families with half board during the week and full board on weekends. The school also arranges studios, apartments and other types of accommodation according to personal preferences. Transfers from the airport to the host family are free of charge.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school organizes recreational programs on a regular basis. Bicycles can be rented for a small fee. In terms of sports, Christchurch and vicinity offer almost unlimited potential: be it cycling, tennis, trekking, riding or golf. Students often organize activities among themselves and spend their weekends at one of the attractive destinations on South Island.
