LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN LONDON
The St. Giles College is located right in the heart of London. Only a few steps from the British Museum and within quick and easy reach of the famous shops of Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Picadilly Circus. The school is housed in an eight-story building and the modern school premises occupy four floors. The infrastructure includes a library, language lab, a DVD/Video and computer rooms. These facilities are also highly popular with the students after class. The school’s own cafeteria serves warm meals and snacks. St. Giles College is the only language school in the centre of London to offer double and single rooms actually in the school building, along with accommodation in host families. The relaxed but serious atmosphere, combined with good value for money, make it very popular among the 17 to 26 age group in particular.
ACCOMMODATION
Along with host families, St. Giles College offers single and double rooms in the school itself. A few rooms have their own bathroom, while there are sufficient WC/showers on the floor where the double rooms are located. Early reservations are essential. Two friends can also book a double room together and there is also the option of booking “half” a double room. College accommodation can be reserved with or without meals. The school also offers the possibility of living with a host family, with travel time averaging 40 to 50 minutes. Further information on request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
St. Giles College has a well balanced recreational program. A welcome event is arranged for newly arrived students to make them feel at home and meet other participants. Visits to theatres, musicals and cinemas are also arranged, as are excursions to Cambridge, Oxford and Brighton. Trips to Paris and Amsterdam are also organized for students from overseas.
