Tamwood International College is located right in the centre of Vancouver, just two minutes from the main shopping street. There are various museums, bars, restaurants, and the famous Stanley Park close by. The school has spacious and bright classrooms, a modern multi-media room with 15 computers and free internet, and a student lounge, where students can meet during breaks and before and after class. The teaching staff are all qualified and experienced in teaching English and create a relaxed yet motivated learning environment.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The host families are very carefully selected and are visited regularly by the school. The families offer single rooms with shared bathroom. By request, the school can arrange for an apartment, hotel, or hostel as alternative accommodation options. Further details available upon request.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Tamwood offers a variety of activities and excursions. For example, they organize city tours, parties and dinners, theatre and museum visits, volleyball tournaments or shopping trips. There are also other excursions that take students sailing, snowboarding, skiing or mountain biking.
