LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN VANCOUVER
St. Giles International is situated in the shopping district of Robson Street in the city centre of Vancouver. Stanley Park and Vancouver’s beautiful beaches are just a 10-minute walk from the school that teaches an average number of 100 to 150 students in an open and warm learning environment. St. Giles’s students come from a wide range of countries. This modern college has more than 11 spacious class rooms, a cafeteria with an Internet café and a lounge for the students, a computer room and wireless Internet access throughout the entire building.
ACCOMMODATION
We recommend you stay with a host family. This gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself into the language and the culture of the country. You will live in a single room with half-board (breakfast and dinner) in one of our host family’s houses located approx. 30 to 40 minutes away from the school. RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
St. Giles regularly organises social, sporting and cultural events and activities catering to every taste, not least thanks to the fact that Vancouver has a lot to offer. The school hosts bowling or film evenings, arranges pub-tours, and tickets for hockey, basketball or football matches. In addition to this, you can book outings to Victoria, Seattle or Whistler, one of the biggest and most famous skiing regions.
