The school is housed in an attractive house that has been renovated and is a historic monument. The garden is very popular with students, especially in the summer months. Hobart’s centre and harbour can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The school, with a maximum of 60 students, is intimate and personal, and students get to know each other very quickly. The teaching staff are highly motivated and trained and teach students in small classes, averaging 12 students. The computer room can be used after class and the infrastructure also includes a small kitchen and lounge. All in all, this is a small, intimate school in a very special part of Australia.

The families offer single room with half board, breakfast and dinner. Accommodation in a limited number of studio apartments for 1 to 2 people can also be arranged by the school. The school has a “Club Tassie” and organizes recreational activities and excursions during the week and on weekends. Sea kayaking, river rafting, trekking tours, riding, golf and climbing are just a few of the activities that are regularly offered. The school also has contact to the University Sports Centre, which offers swimming, badminton, tennis and squash. Many students organize their own excursions with the help of the school administration, which is happy to provide information.
