LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN SYDNEY
The Sydney English Language Centre is located in Bondi, one of Sydney’s most popular and beautiful suburbs. The language school is in a modern building just minutes from the Bondi train station, which connects riders to downtown Sydney in 10 minutes. Nearby, students can enjoy shopping, restaurants, cafés, and Bondi Beach – which is just 10 minutes away by bus. SELC houses over 30 modernly-appointed classrooms, two computer rooms, a library, and a small kitchen with a microwave oven, snack machine and coffee maker. Access to WiFi is available throughout the entire building. The teaching staff are enthusiastic and draw from their experience in teaching English as a second language. All instructors are native English-speakers and have a university degree, and focus on the individual students’ needs.
ACCOMMODATIONS
SELC Bondi arranges single rooms with half board (as well as self-catering) at host families. Most host families are located in the eastern side of the city and are within 30-45 minutes by bus from the school. SELC Bondi also arranges accommodations in Bed and Breakfasts, located just minutes from the school. Other options are available upon request.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school offers a varied activities program and a Spare Time Club – called the ‘Kookaburra Club.’ During the week, students can choose from sports, city and sightseeing tours, movie nights, and cultural group activities. The school also arranges weekend excursions to wonderful destinations around Sydney.
