Even closer, only 20 minutes from the city centre, you can relax on one of thirty sandy beaches after a shopping expedition or museum visit and watch the thousands of surfers in the waves. Bondi and Manly are the most popular beaches. The city is a mere half hour away on one of the ferries that provide regular service to Manly. Visitors to Sydney have only one thing to worry about: that they will run out of time before they have savoured all its myriad attractions.
