LANGUAGE SCHOOL ON THE GOLD COAST
The sister school to Langports English Language College in Brisbane is located in the centre of Surfers’ Paradise, two minutes walk from the beach. Shopping malls, restaurants, bars and cinemas are in the immediate vicinity. The language school itself is a housed in a 4-storey building with modern, well equipped classrooms, a computer lounge, multimedia centre, a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge. Students have free internet access (WiFi and High Speed Internet). The school offers a ride range of courses and endeavours to provide structured training. The highly motivated teaching staff have excellent qualifications, communication skills and long experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
ACCOMMODATION
Langports English Language College arranges single rooms with half board (with full board on weekends) in selected host families. The families normally live about 30 to 40 minutes by bus from the school. Other accommodation options are available if desired. Details are available upon request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Our partner school organizes a range of weekend trips to Byron Bay, Moreton Island, Fraser Island or the Great Barrier Reef. Additional activities include organized BBQs, visits to films and festivals and sports activities (riding, football, beach volleyball, etc). Sports enthusiasts find the Gold Coast particularly appealing, as it offers so many opportunities: surfing, golfing, diving, football, tennis or water skiing, to name but a few.
