ACCOMMODATION
Host families are carefully selected and care is taken so that two students with the same mother tongue are never housed in the same family. Single rooms with half board during the week and full board on weekends are available. Host families are normally located 25 to 30 minutes from the school by public transport. Transfers from the airport to the host family can be arranged for a fee.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Activities are organized on a regular basis by the school both during the week and on weekends. Course participants can register for weekend excursions, although many students organize trips themselves. The Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, for example, are popular weekend destinations. Brisbane is also ideal for sports fans: since virtually every kind of sport is available in the Sunshine State.
